First published in 1981, the Canadian Oilfield Service & Supply Directory (COSSD) celebrates over a quarter-century of connecting businesses, clients, products, and services across the Canadian oil and gas industry. It is Canada’s most comprehensive oil patch directory and buyer’s guide.
Every June, a combined total of 72,500 copies of digital and print versions of the COSSD are delivered to companies throughout the oil and gas sector as well as related industries. More than 50,000 of these are hand delivered across the province, demonstrating our integrity and commitment to our customers. The remaining copies are circulated both locally and internationally, including distribution at major trade shows and industry events throughout the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin and beyond. With its unmatched track record of targeted distribution and market penetration, the COSSD is the definitive guide to Canada’s oil and gas industry.
The COSSD is comprised of five main sections:
- White section: Advertisers, associations, oil companies, and industry-related firms listed alphabetically and by town.
- Blue section: Oil company head and field offices and gas plants listed alphabetically, by town, and by facility.
- Green section: Environmental service and supply companies advertised alphabetically in more than 170 specialized categories.
- Orange section: Hotels and motels listed alphabetically by town (NEW!)
- Yellow section: Advertisers and service and supply companies listed alphabetically in more than 1,830 specialized oilfield categories.
